Exhibit Opportunities & Exhibit Hours
The exhibition is a vital part of CDDW. Every effort will be made to ensure that all exhibitors receive prime exposure and direct marketing opportunities with key players and decision makers in the field. Efforts include but are not limited to:
- Welcome Reception in the Exhibit Hall
- Morning and afternoon nutrition breaks in the Exhibit Hall on all Conference days
- MedTech Theatre presentations in the Exhibit Hall

CAG sponsors followed by Conference Level sponsors have first choice in selecting booth location, followed by exhibitors on a “first-booked, first-served” basis, as long as payment is received. No exhibitor may sub-let or share with another exhibitor.
Academic Partner
Academic institutions are entitled to a special rate for one (1) tabletop display (8’ x 5’ space with table and 2 chairs) to promote their programs and recruit students. Two (2) complimentary exhibitor badges are included (access to Exhibit Hall only). Assignment of space will be confined to a specific area on the floorplan. Academic Partners do not have the option to choose space in other locations on the exhibit floor at this reduced rate.
Non-Profit Space
Not-for-profit organizations are eligible to receive a reduced rate for one (1) tabletop display (8’ x 5’ space with table and 2 chairs). Two (2) complimentary exhibitor badges are included (access to Exhibit Hall only). Assignment of space will be confined to a specific area on the floorplan. Non-profit exhibitors do not have the option to choose space in other locations on the exhibit floor at this reduced rate.

As the sponsor of an Industry Symposium, you will:
- Have the use of a meeting room at the venue for the duration of the symposium. You are permitted to hold the meeting at another property; however, the same fee applies, and meeting space & AV package will not be available through the Conference Secretariat but will be at your own expense.
- Receive a basic AV package with projector and screen, microphone at the podium, audience microphones, and a head table with microphones.
- Be listed on the Conference website and mobile app, with symposium description and hyperlink to company’s own event page (if desired).
- Receive two (2) complimentary One-Day badges for your team or speakers to access the symposium.
- Get access to the live Participants List 60 days before the Conference (name, position, company, country, no contact information; only participants who consented).
- Be listed in a summary e-blast highlighting all symposia, sent through the Conference Secretariat to all registered delegates prior to the Conference.
Important Information:
- Symposium date will be allocated based on CAG Priority list, sponsorship level, stated preferences and order of commitment. Following the initial allocation, all subsequent sponsors will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Prices above do not include food and beverage; food and beverage can be ordered from the official catering provider via the Conference Secretariat
- Only basic AV is included. Additional AV equipment can be ordered from the official AV supplier via the Conference Secretariat
The Sponsor must provide the symposium program as well as presentation slides to the Conference Secretariat, for approval by the Organizing Committee, closer to the Conference dates. Details will be communicated in the next few months.
The information discussed must be presented in an objective, balanced, and scientifically rigorous manner. The content and format of the symposium or its related materials must promote improvements in quality of healthcare and not a specific proprietary business interest or commercial interest. Titles must be indicative of the program topics.
MedTech Theatre Presentations
Deliver a focused, high-impact presentation during a morning or afternoon nutrition break in the Exhibition Hall. Whether showcasing a new product or sharing clinical or research insights, this 30-minute sponsored session offers a powerful platform to position your brand as a thought leader in digestive health.

A 2.5-day course for gastrointestinal residents led by CAG Faculty. 75 residents selected by competitive process via abstract submission.
Scholars’ Program
A 1.5-day program for residents and medical students led by CAG Faculty. 30 participants determined by nomination and internal selection process.
Research Topics Program
A 2-day program for researchers led by CAG Faculty. 35 participants selected by competitive process via abstract submission.

DEIB Fireside Chat (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging)
The DEIB Fireside Chat is an informal yet structured interview between a moderator and a DEIB community advocate. It is a unique opportunity to uncover personal stories and ways to promote DEIB. The audience will have the opportunity to engage in this intimate conversation.
Mentorship Café
The Mentorship Café gives delegates the opportunity to meet with mentors with a variety of expertise and experience to gain valuable education and career advice. It is designed to bring attendees into an intimate café-style environment with professionals who are more than willing to share experiences and knowledge.
Sideways Science Session (3S)
A fun session to celebrate what most scientific training ignores: FAILURE. 3S is here to change that. This session is designed to normalize the messy, human side of science; support student and trainee mental health (because science is hard enough); build community, resilience, and a sense of “you’re not alone”; laugh a little, learn a lot, and reduce the stigma around failure.

Delegate Help Desk
The Delegate Help Desk will be located within the registration area at the Conference venue. Staff will be available to assist delegates with any questions they may have regarding the Conference, the Scientific Program, or Vancouver.
As the exclusive sponsor of the Delegate Help Desk, you will have the desk branded with your logo or custom design.
Poster Sessions
Abstracts accepted for poster presentations will be displayed on poster boards in the Exhibit Hall. Presenters will be present during the Nutrition Breaks and Poster Viewing Sessions to answer questions and discuss their research with delegates. Food and beverage will be offered during the Poster Sessions to generate an atmosphere conducive to beneficial exchanges.
As the exclusive sponsor of the Poster Session, you will:
- Have the opportunity to position one or more custom free-standing banner(s) around the poster boards (banner(s) supplied by Sponsor; maximum size 3’ x 5’)
- Have your logo displayed on all poster signs on the poster boards and on all relevant signage associated with the Poster Session
Water Stations
Water stations will be provided throughout the venue (Exhibit Hall, corridors) to provide delegates with a quick refresh as they move about all day.
As the exclusive sponsor of the Water Stations, you will have your logo / custom design displayed near the stations.
Charging Lounge
The Charging Lounge will allow attendees to power up their mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and other electronic devices for free. This lounge will be in high demand and can be placed in the Exhibit Hall near your booth.

Host Venue
The JW Marriott Parq Vancouver is a contemporary, full-service hotel located in downtown Vancouver, offering refined accommodation and state-of-the-art meeting and event facilities. Situated within the Parq Vancouver complex, the hotel’s integrated conference facilities and central location make it an ideal setting for hosting international medical meetings and fostering professional exchange.
Compliance with Innovative Medicines Canada
The JW Marriott Parq Vancouver is part of the Parq Vancouver complex, which includes a casino. The hotel is not “primarily known as a casino” and as such, it does not contravene paragraph 6.2.3 of the Innovative Medicines Canada Code of Ethical Practices. Furthermore, the following steps have been taken to mitigate the existence of the casino near the venue:
- The general manager has provided assurance in a letter and in the contract that there will be no casino promotion in any of our guest rooms and/or meeting spaces.
- The hotel has committed to removing all signage and promotions about the casino within the walls of the hotel and Conference Centre during our stay.
- The hotel will block off or redirect people from accessing the casino through the lobby.

The Conference Secretariat (International Conference Services, Ltd.) is the official housing bureau and will coordinate housing for CDDW. Discounted room rates have been negotiated for delegates and groups. All sponsors and exhibitors are asked to support the Conference by booking accommodation via the official housing bureau. Full rates will be available on the Conference website’s Accommodation page.
